Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
Job Description:
We need LPNs to care for people who are sick, injured, or disabled under the direction of physicians and registered nurses.
Duties include:
o Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance
o Record the patients' vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate)
o Collect patient's health information
o Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians
o Give oral medications and injections to patients (in permitted states)
o Test a patient's blood sugar levels
o Urinary catheter insertion and care
o Wound care and dressing changes
o Assist patients with personal hygiene
o Monitor for changes in patients
o Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patient's medical records
Job Requirements:
Active LPN License
Current CPR/BLS
